How to apply for staff!
Hi players of xiavic this guide is a revamped guide from the one we had so much of the stuff is pretty much the same just wanted to add a few new stuff to make it more complete.
- What we essentially are looking for in an application is that you have the skillset to take on the staff role.
- The first thing that we will notice is how it's presented to us, so even though you may have a very lengthy application, then it will be a hell for us to read through if you do not present it to us in the right way and we will most likely not end up accepting you.
- Make sure to check the grammar. Yes, not everyone's first language is English but we do need to understand what you're saying in your application.
- Make sure that you do not use a lot of fillers, that are useless for us to know unless you explain to us why it's important for us to know this.
- Even though you have to use a format, then it needs to reflect you and your personality. If we needed to read through 20 of the same old application with nothing unique done about it, then you will not leave an imprint on our mind and we will most likely not end up remembering it later when we're hiring.
- You need to be honest in your application. It will not impress us by lying.

- Age (Note: You must be 16 or over to apply):
- Do you have access to Discord and a working microphone? (yes/no and state your discord tag)
- Do you have the ability to record Minecraft video?
- Are you multilingual? (Fluent in multiple languages. Not just learning one.)
- How much time do you have to contribute to the role?
- Server Gamemode:
- Have you ever been banned from Xiavic before:
- If yes to the question above, why (Otherwise just skip this question):
- Do you have any previous server moderation or leadership experience?:
- Imagine a player is being rude on the server how do you evaluate the situation?( Example: what type of ban/ how long):
- You are playing on the server and you see an hacker going crazy on pvp and then you see an x-ray one how do you evaluate? (Use same example as before):
- Why should we accept you? (Why is your application different from the ones we already recieved or will recieve):
- Anything else we should know?
Important note: Asking a staff member to review your application or to write it for you will result in instant denial you may re-apply in 2 weeks.
Architect Application:
- Minecraft username:
- Previous Minecraft usernames:
- Timezone:
- Age (Note: You must be 16 or over to apply):
- How much time can you dedicate to server projects?:
- What type of buildings can you do?
- The first times you will work as an architect you will be supervised by higher staff rank are you ok with that?
- When you finish this application you should do some buildings to showcase for us to review.
This also applies the important note from staff applications.
